Job Title: End User Computing/ Desktop Support

Job Description :
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
o Diagnose and resolve computer hardware, software and network issues for users
- Hardware and Software Support
o Install, configure and maintain desktop devices, operating systems and applications
o Update Firmware, BIOS and drivers
o Vendor coordination for h/w, software issues and share logs
- Software Deployment
o Distribute and deploy software updates, patches and new applications to end users
- Incident Management
o Respond to user requests and incidents, track issues and ensure timely resolution
- Security
o Implement and maintain security measures to protect end-user devices and data
- Documentation
o Maintain and update documentation for procedures, troubleshooting steps and system configurations
- Communication
o Communicate effectively with users, providing clear and concise technical support
- Project Support
o Assist with IT projects including planning, implementation and testing
- Continuous Improvement
o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance end-user experience and efficiency
- Travel
o Travel from one site to another in same geography for device deployment
- Inventory Management
o Maintain desktop h/w inventory
o Maintain spare h/w inventory
o Parts received and return
o Coordination with Logistics team
o Regularly required to lift and carry boxes up to 50 lbs
Skills and Qualifications
- Year of Experience
o Minimum 4+ yrs. of experience
- Technical Skills
o Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, operating system (Windows) and networking
- Problem-Solving
o Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with users and explain technical concepts
- Troubleshooting
o Experience with troubleshooting tools and techniques
- Documentation
o Ability to create and maintain clear and accurate documentation
- Security Awareness
o Understanding of security principles and best practices
- Software Deployment
o Experience with software deployment tools (SCCM)
