The Northern Trust Company seeks a Sr. Consultant, Data Analytics to create and track key performance indicators and design analytical models to enable insightful decision making. Analyze and interpret statistical data and perform requirements gathering, data analysis, process mapping, and test case definition. Analyze data flows to design and develop enduring solutions that provide analytical insights. Develop and deliver solutions that leverage and extend existing business intelligence and analytics infrastructure. Apply statistical models and methods that address business issues and develop metrics for ad-hoc reporting. Identify opportunities to enhance processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve accuracy, viability, and value. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field and 3 years of experience with collecting, cleaning, and manipulating data from multiple sources. Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience with database systems, data analysis, and reporting; 3 years of experience with manipulating large amounts of data for analytical projects and translating data; 3 years of experience defining and documenting test cases and performing user acceptance testing; 3 years of experience analyzing complex datasets and defining trends and data patterns; 3 years of experience performing source system data analysis to manage source to target data mapping; and 3 years of experience with SQL and Excel. Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
