Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief of Staff / Business Auditor to support the CHRO of a leading utilities company in the Northeast. This role is critical in identifying operational gaps, roadblocks, and inefficiencies across the HR, Payroll, and Timesheet ecosystem. The ideal candidate will serve as the eyes and ears of the executive leadership team, providing actionable insights and driving transformation initiatives from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep-dive assessments of HR, Payroll, and Timesheet processes to uncover blind spots and improvement opportunities.
- 2. Translate operational findings into strategic business recommendations and executive-level presentations.
- 3. Partner closely with the CHRO and SVP to drive change initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- 4. Act as a liaison between ground-level operations and executive leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- 5. Lead and support large-scale transformation programs within HR and workforce management domains.
- 6. Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including Managing Directors and client executives.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the Utilities industry or other complex, regulated environments.
- Strong background in HR systems, particularly SAP SuccessFactors and Workforce Software.
- Demonstrated success in consulting roles, preferably with Fortune 500 clients.
- Hands-on practitioner with the ability to assess real-time operational challenges and propose strategic solutions.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience working closely with CHROs, SVPs, and C-level executives.
- Ability to travel monthly to NY/NJ/Boston for on-site engagements (3 5 days per trip).
