Job Title: Test Professional
Job Duration: 12 Months
Job Location: Johnson City, TN
Onsite Role
Skills Matrix:
- Bachelors in computer science or electronics engineering type degree (Associates would be considered if experience is sufficient)
- Main skill: C# (primary)
- C++ (also welcome, with potential to learn C#)
- Knowledge of Visual Studio is a plus
- Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- Understanding of IO modules
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience with Raspberry Pi or similar hardware projects
- Basic understanding of electronics and technical details
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering.
- Understanding of C or C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Knowledge or experience in test automation, GUI controls, smartphone technologies, and communication protocols.
- Familiarity with methods used to validate software products.
Responsibilities:
- Execute functional tests on products.
- Consult with Product Managers and team members regarding the testability of requirements.
- Analyze requirements to define test cases.
- Perform requirements verification to ensure completeness and adherence to standards.
- Identify potential technical problems or design flaws.
- Interact with internal stakeholders, including support representatives, developers, technical writers, project managers, and quality assurance personnel.
