DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

What we re looking for

  • Own connected in-car product development to ensure delivery aligned with program and vehicle milestones.
  • Act as the primary interface to the Product team in Japan and external stakeholders for requirement gathering, reporting, and alignment.
  • Consolidate scattered requirements from NA, EU, AU regions into functional specifications and ensure compliance in design, as well as support Q&A sessions with development teams.
  • Drive design and development teams to meet agreed program timelines while addressing dependencies and blockers.
  • Ensure smooth integration between horizontal teams (Evaluation, Privacy, Security, App, Cloud Server) and vertical teams (in-car devices).
  • Support Launch Readiness and go-to-market activities for connected vehicle features and services.
  • Collaborate on QA validation and issue resolution, ensuring alignment with end-to-end system requirements.
  • Experience in connected car / IoT services with mobile app integration is highly recommended.
  • Strong documentation and status reporting to leadership, TMC, and external partners.

What you ll be doing

  • Work closely with engineering, design, QA, and operations to deliver connected product features.
  • Manage backlog, priorities, and sprint planning ensuring alignment with global and regional requirements.
  • Support test planning, QA sessions, and validation activities with development and evaluation teams.
  • Monitor and track milestone delivery, escalating risks and providing mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to system documentation, functional specifications, and reporting frameworks.
  • Drive alignment between business needs, vehicle programs, and technical feasibility.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to address customer issues post-launch and provide continuous improvements.
  • Lead and support weekly status meetings and leadership reporting, ensuring visibility across program stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on emerging connected car and IoT trends, ensuring forward-looking product ownership practices.
