Seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage sourcing, vendor relations, purchase orders, and inventory coordination.
Role Overview:
As a Procurement Specialist, your core duties will include:
Material Sourcing
Procuring supplies for both operational functions and capital initiatives.
Vendor Relations
Researching and qualifying suppliers, negotiating pricing and contract terms.
Ensuring vendors meet required quality benchmarks and delivery timelines.
Order Processing
Initiating and managing purchase orders in line with internal procedures.
Monitoring shipments and resolving delivery or compliance issues.
Inventory Oversight
Tracking stock levels to maintain adequate supply for business needs.
Coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams to prevent shortages and streamline inventory flow.
Schedule/Location:
- Hybrid Mon-Fri
- Houston, TX
- Bachelors degree in logistics, purchasing, or similar.
- 2-5 years of supply chain experience
- ERP proficiency
- Ability to work in a fast past environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Oil and Gas background preferred
- Strong multi-tasking abilities.
