Job Description
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mining Engineering, or a related engineering field.
Required Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Azure, Linux, SQL Server, TCP/IP networking, and Microsoft platforms.
Ability to read/interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Experience with quality control standards, sampling procedures, and data analysis.
Familiarity with Cat New Product Introduction (NPI) processes (preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
Design sampling procedures and quality evaluation methods.
Validate the precision of production/testing equipment.
Troubleshoot MineStar hardware/software issues for dealers/customers.
Document defects via CPI process and liaise with engineering teams.
Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI).
Ensure compliance with change management processes.
Conduct training sessions on quality standards.
Work with global teams (Product Support, Engineering, Customers).
Work Environment:
On-site (Tucson Mining Center) with occasional mine site visits (10% travel).
PPE required (partial boot reimbursement provided).
Additional Notes
Disqualifiers: Poor communication skills, lack of technical/industry experience.
Interview: Week of June 30, 2025 | Start Date: July 7, 2025.
Required Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal/written).
Ability to train others on quality control processes.
Team collaboration with global teams (US, Australia, India, Brazil).
Customer/dealer interaction (technical & non-technical audiences).
Industry Experience:
2-4 years in quality engineering, industrial tech support, or project management.
Experience in mining, construction, or heavy equipment sectors (preferred).
