Our firm is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Civil Engineer (P.E.) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and a passion for innovation and problem-solving. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from infrastructure and transportation to water resources and environmental engineering. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, where every project presents unique challenges and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and supervise construction projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Prepare, review, and approve detailed engineering reports, plans, and specifications.
  • Use AutoCAD and other relevant software to create technical drawings and plans.
  • Conduct field inspections and site evaluations, identifying any potential design or construction issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering professionals to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Oversee and guide junior engineers and technicians.
  • Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, making recommendations to mitigate any potential issues.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, public and government officials, and other stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Current registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development (Residential, commercial, multifamily), Drainage, Utilities, and some DOT/Highway
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and procedures.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for finding innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on data.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and advancements.
