JOB SUMMARY As part of Enterprise Network Services (ENS), the Technical Program Management team is responsible for onboarding medium to large-scale network projects and managing strategic programs. The Senior Technical Program Manager will oversee the successful onboarding of new projects, manage CapEx/OpEx requirements, secure funding approvals, and lead large-scale network infrastructure initiatives. This role requires strong network infrastructure expertise, exceptional leadership skills, proficiency in Jira, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure timely and efficient delivery of robust network solutions. Key Responsibilities Facilitate onboarding of new network infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth integration into existing workflows. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders. Gather and assess CapEx/OpEx requirements for accurate forecasting, budgeting, and approvals. Lead and manage large-scale network infrastructure programs from inception to completion, including schedules, budgets, and resources. Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout all phases of the program. Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Manage and maintain Jira for project tracking, issue resolution, and documentation. Apply network infrastructure knowledge (data centers, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) to guide project execution. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring requirements are defined, risks are mitigated, and deliverables met. Facilitate effective communication across engineering, operations, and service delivery teams. Present project updates, milestones, and risks to stakeholders, including senior leadership. Identify and implement process improvements and best practices for project/program management. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field. 8+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on network infrastructure projects. Proven experience in large-scale enterprise network environments. Strong understanding of network technologies (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, cloud networking, datacenter infrastructure, firewall, load balancers, network security, server farms, systems). Proven track record of delivering large-scale complex projects on time and within budget. Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and project management methodologies. Proficiency in Jira for project management and tracking. Strong understanding of CapEx/OpEx management and funding approvals. Ability to work through ambiguity and resolve unstructured issues. Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications PMP certification. Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, CompTIA Network+, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Experience in risk management, including mitigation strategies and contingency planning.
