Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Standards
- Define and maintain technical standards for end-user computing devices
- Lead strategic planning and goal-setting for the digital workplace environment
Deployment & Automation
- Manage timely rollouts of applications, upgrades, and security patches
- Develop and maintain a zero-touch desktop deployment system
Architecture & Troubleshooting
- Design and support Windows client architecture aligned with industry best practices
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for OS, enterprise software, and configuration issues
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Participate in or lead projects to implement new technologies that enhance stability, security, and efficiency
- Collaborate with IT support teams and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution
Daily Activities
- Maintain and optimize endpoint device management systems
- Resolve escalated technical incidents and contribute to problem management efforts
- Support operating system upgrades, image management, and compliance reporting
- Create documentation and dashboards for technical and executive audiences
- Engage with vendors for application support and issue resolution
Required Skills & Experience
Strong history in:
- Endpoint device management and automation
- Operating system configuration and deployment (Windows and macOS)
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Writing clear, client-facing documentation
Experience with:
- Enterprise-level software deployment and compliance reporting
- IT service management practices (incident, change, problem management)
- Scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell)
- Presenting to management and working across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud-based licensing models and enterprise security tools
- Experience with unified endpoint management platforms
- Knowledge of server management and group policy configuration
- Ability to build custom dashboards and reports for performance tracking
