About the Role
We are looking for a Client-Facing Project Manager with deep experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance to manage large-scale initiatives across digital, data, and platform transformation programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing timelines and dependencies, and ensuring consistent communication with both business and technology stakeholders.
This role requires strong domain knowledge in P&C insurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups in a fast-paced Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of client-facing projects in the Property & Casualty Insurance space.
- Partner with business stakeholders, SMEs, Product Owners, and technical teams to align goals, scope, and deliverables.
- Manage project scope, schedule, resources, risks, and dependencies using Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
- Run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and steering committee updates.
- Track project progress and deliver executive-level status reports and dashboards.
- Act as the escalation point between internal teams and client stakeholders, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
- Ensure project documentation, RAID logs, communication plans, and timelines are kept up to date.
- Coordinate across geographically distributed teams (onshore/offshore).
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing enterprise-level IT or business transformation projects.
- 5+ years of experience working with P&C Insurance carriers, brokers, or platforms.
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance workflows, systems, and terminology (e.g., policy admin, underwriting, claims, or distribution).
- Hands-on experience managing Agile/Scrum projects.
- Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint for project tracking and reporting.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with P&C platforms like Guidewire, Duck Creek, Vertafore, Applied Epic, etc., is a strong plus.
- Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe) or PMP certification preferred.
- Experience working in hybrid delivery models (Agile + Waterfall).
- Previous consulting or client services experience is a plus.
