Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Principal System Engineer

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W Plano Pkwy., Plano, TX. 75075

DUTIES: Manage MuleSoft engineering support for a distribution channel, which includes managing the application environments and DevOps CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and maintaining application landscape. Serve as a representative of the Engineering team. Work with the Scrum product, development teams and Mulesoft platform teams. Provide guidance on non-functional architectural and design aspect. Work on designs, non-functional requirements including performance and security are reflected in the product throughout the development life cycle. Identify design risks and mitigation approaches. Work as a liaison between Engineering, Product and Support teams. Work with QA and UAT help testing platform features across all applications. Provide operational support for MuleSoft integrations. Support and monitor enhancements to production landscape environment. Develop and enhance core monitoring capabilities for application landscape using industry tools to capture performance of applications and render as appropriate dashboards. Oversee product for all defined KPIs to ensure best-in-class customer experience. Review the architecture and designs with other application architects and engineering for overlaps and conflicts. Liaison between Production Support Teams and Product Teams to triage production defects requiring development fixes. Design and implement integrations of applications on a large scale using MuleSoft. Utilize Mule, Anypoint Platform/API Manager, Java, SQL, REST, API Manager, Web Services, Maven, Micro Services, ETL, Bitbucket, Shell Script, GitHub, and Kafka. Perform design of integration solutions, and Microservices. Perform API management and API security.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science and Information Technology or Computer Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing Mule, Anypoint Platform/API Manager, Java, SQL, REST, API Manager, Web Services, Maven, Micro Services, ETL, Bitbucket, Shell Script, GitHub, and Kafka; performing design of integration solutions, and Microservices; performing API management and API security.
