Prefer full stack candidates. One person will be assigned to Data Services and is responsible for moving larger data feeds off of SSIS using the newer tech like Spark and Kafka. Other person will be a dedicated full stack Java/Angular/SQL engineer on the Risk Data Governance team.

Kafka and Spark are not hard requirements, but are technologies that will be coming to the environment so these hires should be capable of adapting and learning. A lot of the app runs on Java with an Angular front end.

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

3 agile teams report to this RTM. Data Services works with 100 different feeds that come into the platform. Try to get all of the data into the system in time for the nightly batch to flow over for the rest of the team to calculate and aggregate based off, are the first step in the data flow for the group. Need to move off of older code that is falling out of compliance. Risk Data Governance works with controls for data in Capital. Has a kitchen sink approach, also supports other smaller apps throughout the bank based on SQL, Java, and Angular. RFDM is centered around a vendor product that isn't in play for these hires. Will start off backfilling the full time team members on BAU processes but will be working with the new platform as it comes online over the next 2 years.

Should not be a dedication SSIS engineer.

Most of the team works with business partners, should be able to communicate cross functionally. Have had problems before with those who don't know they're stuck and won't ask for help, this person should be able to ask for help.

Works in a Kanban model. Will have 4 scrum meetings per week. Work is prioritized by the product owner and Scrummaster. Won't be dedicated to sprints. When a project is finished, will move onto something to test or pick up a new Jira ticket to work on until fulfillment.
