- Work Arrangement: Hybrid
- Contract: This is a Contract position.
- Work Location: 235 S Grand Ave, Lansing, Michigan.
- Mode of Interview: Either In-person or Remote.
Key Development and Administration Responsibilities
Rhapsody Development & Integration
- Engine Expertise: Expert use of the latest Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x).
- Custom Development: Utilize the Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK) to create custom components like filters, mappers, and custom message payload translations.
- Interoperability: Deep experience with key healthcare IT standards: HL7 version 2.x messaging, HL7 FHIR, and CDA standards.
- Data Transformation: Custom message payload translation between formats (e.g., JSON, XML, HL7 to proprietary/legacy formats).
- Protocols: Experience using various web services and protocols: SOAP, REST, OAUTH, TCP-connections, and LLP.
- Security: Expertise in transport encryption/security, including TLS and mutual authorization via certificates.
- Implementation: Implementing solutions based on complex Implementation Guides.
Rhapsody System Administration & Operations
- Maintenance & Support: Perform Rhapsody maintenance, support server patches, restart the Rhapsody application, and manage Rhapsody memory and storage.
- Certificates: Renew and install HESB Server certificates, install application system certificates, and resolve connection issues.
- Monitoring: Manage and clear the error queue and hold queue, reprocessing messages as needed, and clearing Rhapsody alerts.
- Reporting: Produce Latency, Response, and Monthly Status reports.
- Code Management: Code debugging, enhancements, production issue fixes, and code migration to production.
- Version Control: Lead Rhapsody version upgrades and related testing.
Technical & Health IT Skills
- Programming: Proficiency in JavaScript programming and SQL.
- Data Standards: Expertise in XML and healthcare vocabularies: LONIC, SNOMED, RxNorm.
- HIE/IHE: Working knowledge of Health Information Exchange (HIE) technology and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE).
