Job Details

Role Overview:

S/4HANA QM Consultant with a strong background in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry. The consultant will play a key role in implementing and configuring SAP Quality Management (QM) processes to support compliance with stringent aerospace manufacturing standards, including FAA and DoD regulations.

Mandatory Requirements:

A&D / Discrete Manufacturing experience (No Public Sector-only experience)
US Deployment experience as a Value Stream Lead using a global SAP S/4HANA template
SAP S/4HANA (v2019 or later) hands-on implementation experience (min 3 full life cycles)
No exceptions
Willingness to travel to client locations as required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and implement SAP S/4HANA Quality Management processes tailored to A&D manufacturing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across MM, SD, Procurement, PP, MRO

  • Design and execute inspection plans aligned with regulatory standards

  • Ensure integration of SAP QM with legacy systems and other SAP modules

  • Drive quality initiatives across the product lifecycle sales, procurement, manufacturing, MRO, and services

  • Support batch & serial number management, notifications, inspection lots, and Fiori apps

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Deep expertise in SAP QM module: Inspections, Notifications, Results Recording, and Defect Management

  • Extensive hands-on experience with customization, inspection types, batch & serial number mgmt, and segmentation

  • Familiarity with Fiori apps for QM processes

Industry Knowledge:

  • Proven experience with FAA, DoD, and other aerospace compliance frameworks

  • Understanding of A&D quality standards, including MRO and defense production regulations

Project Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of consulting or business process experience

  • Minimum 5 years of SAP system configuration experience in QM

  • Completed 3+ full lifecycle implementations of S/4HANA

  • Experience with global template rollouts and localizations in the US

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

  • Effective cross-functional team collaboration

  • Analytical problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
