Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability / DevOps Engineer with 8+ years of experience in production support, DevOps, and site reliability engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This role involves ensuring platform stability, continuous improvement of deployment pipelines, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced development, support, and implementation in a production environment.
  • Create and manage CI/CD frameworks using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab, Nexus, and Harness.
  • Monitor and improve system performance using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, IBM Tivoli, or ELK.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage software releases using Jira, Remedy, or similar tools.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, Shell scripting, or PowerShell.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform impact analysis, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Lead production releases and deployments across environments and cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with development and run teams to enhance DevOps and release practices.
  • Develop configuration and release scripts, branching strategies, and automation processes.
  • Support and improve application monitoring dashboards and alerts.
  • Work across cloud environments including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, OpenShift, or PCF.
  • Manage incidents and service tickets via tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Ensure compliance with change management and release documentation standards.
  • Maintain Linux-based systems and work with databases like MongoDB, Oracle, or SQL.
  • Support networking and security best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their technical growth.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years specifically in DevOps, SRE, or Production Support teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution skills.
  • Expertise in CI/CD, system monitoring, and automation.
  • Experience in agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, accountability, and leadership skills.
