Job Title: Red Hat Linux Admin
Location: Annapolis, MD(Onsite)
Duration: Contract to Hire W2

Job Description:
Administrator consultant. The Red Hat Linux Administrator will manage and optimize the client's Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. The resource will be responsible for ensuring system stability, security, and performance while supporting a range of enterprise applications. This role requires advanced expertise in Linux administration, automation, troubleshooting, and security best practices.
Resource Qualifications:
  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator certification.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Red Hat system administrator.
  • 10+ years administering Unix (AIX) IBM pSeries systems, 15+ years in IT.
  • Working in a complex networked system environment with strong networking.
  • Administering systems including, but not limited to, the applications below:
  • Oracle WebLogic Servers
  • Oracle Database Servers
  • Progress 4GL/Database Servers/OpenEdge
  • Apache Web Servers
  • vSphere hosted RHEL Servers.
  • Rubrik backup systems.
  • Oracle Database backups.
  • PeopleSoft
  • Mobius
  • Elastic Search
  • Oracle OBI
  • CVS (Concurrent Version System)
