Title : ServiceNow ITSM Catalog Developer

Location : Houston , TX (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITSM Catalog Developer to design, develop, and maintain Service Catalog solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Service Catalog, Request Management, Flow Designer, and ITSM modules, and will work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and user-friendly service request solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow Service Catalog and Request Catalog solutions.
  • Create and maintain Catalog Items, Record Producers, Order Guides, and Variable Sets.
  • Implement Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, and Catalog Client Scripts.
  • Build and maintain Workflows and Flow Designer flows for request fulfillment.
  • Integrate Service Catalog with ITSM modules such as Incident, Request, Change, and Problem.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure catalog solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, performance standards, and governance.
  • Perform unit testing, support UAT, and assist with production deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve catalog-related issues and defects.
  • Maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer artifacts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
  • Strong experience in Service Catalog / Request Management.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Experience with Flow Designer and legacy Workflows.
  • Solid understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Request, Change).
  • Experience working with Catalog UI customization.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow ACLs, roles, and security.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with HRSD or CSM Catalogs.
  • ServiceNow CSA / CAD / CIS-ITSM certification.
  • Experience with integrations (REST APIs).
  • Exposure to Service Portal or Employee Center.
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum environments.
