Job Details
- Software deployment, upgrades, and support manage software rollouts, upgrades, license administration, and technical support for Autodesk (290 licenses) and over 70 specialized engineering design and analysis applications.
- Collaboration with Server and Virtual Desktop Teams support the Technology Department's server team in testing, implementing, and managing Engineering Application VM Servers, as well as assisting with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) upgrades and deployments.
- Bluebeam Revu license and portal management oversee 500 Bluebeam Revu licenses for the Engineering Department, including portal administration, software upgrades, configuration, installation, and creation of project review sessions. Provide user support and coordinate with project teams for agency-wide review processes.
- Computer refresh and setup support work closely with the Technology Department's Refresh Team to support OS upgrades and device replacements. Pre-install required software packages and assist users with initial setup of new or replacement devices.
- Onsite technical support and performance optimization deliver hands-on support for Engineering-owned applications to enhance performance. Maintain service call logs and generate reports via Power BI dashboards for management review.
- Engineering project data server administration manages project data servers, including folder creation, user access rights resolution, and uploading project files to Livelink for agency-wide review.
- License and documentation management maintain software license records and documentation on the Engineering Solutions SharePoint site.
- Project support and application development assist the Engineering Solutions application task leader on major initiatives such as People Finder, CAD Review Automation, EQuIs database, and Leica Cyclone Enterprise.
- SQL server maintenance, perform data backups and cleanup tasks using existing scripts within SQL Server Management Studio.
Technical and Experience Requirements
- Extensive Autodesk experience, (5 year+) of hands-on experience with Autodesk software functionalities. Able to support for trouble shooting and technical solutions
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud Technologies (3 year+) to developing and maintaining applications within Azure Data Lake storage environments.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and skilled in Power BI for documentation and reporting.
- PDF and markup tools expertise, proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Bluebeam Revu (5 year+).
- Advanced System Analysis skills (10 year+), capable of generating detailed usage reports on network application license utilization across the agency. As Technical Support roll to entire Engineering department work /coordinate with Technology Department on all deployment program, system integration; server migration and Application upgrade.
- Engineering data and document management experience in supporting Engineering design teams with project management, document workflows, and 3D point cloud data storage.
- Strong organizational abilities self-motivated with excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication skills demonstrate strong verbal and written communication for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Educational qualifications - bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is required; an advanced degree is highly preferred.
- Prior experience working with a large public agency or utility is a plus
Work hours and location:
- Part Time role with engagement length of 24 months
- Schedule: 2-3 days per week
