As a Partner Technology Strategist Manager (PTM), you will be expected to drive rigor in the people agenda, curate a high-performance culture, and enhance "Tech intensity" by fostering a continuous learning environment and promoting innovation within your team.

You will be a transformative leader, responsible for driving the strategy and day-to-day execution across the full spectrum of services (SI) partners impact with Enterprise customers across the Americas (US, Canada, Latam.)

Leading a team of Partner Technology Strategists (PTS) and/or Partner Cloud Solution Architects (CSA), you will provide strategic guidance and valuable insights on how our services partners can efficiently evolve their business solution portfolio using Microsoft technologies and diverse solution areas in delivering impact to our enterprise customers.

You will model, coach, and care for your team, fostering a high-performance culture of excellence. Your deep technical expertise across solutions and partner eco system will establish your credibility, while your ability to create and lead a top-tier team through robust hiring practices, talent retention strategies, coaching, and mentoring will drive performance excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy - Model, coach, and care for your team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on excellence. Drive execution of technology strategy and digital transformation by your team, guiding technical roadmaps for strategic accounts. Establish and communicate performance expectations and lead the team to accept changes and retain performance levels while responding to changing demands. Demonstrate inclusiveness, inspire a growth mindset, and lead by example.
  • Talent Management - Build a talented and diverse team through effective hiring practices. Foster talent retention by providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. Create a culture of continuous learning and career growth, ensuring fairness, compliance, and alignment with company mission and values.
  • Deliver results through Collaboration - Be the trusted advisor and technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) of the partners Technical Decision Makers (TDMs) including CxO. Drive the execution of the company's priorities by developing and executing clear strategy for your team, enabling them to drive partners success, remove technical blockers for technology adoption, and champion ways to innovate and improve productivity of your team. Foster collaborative relationships with partners, ensuring alignment of partnership objectives and effective utilization of Microsoft solutions .
  • Technical Expertise - Leverage your technical expertise in Intellectual Property (IP) solutions and Services development, gaining credibility and providing valuable insights to partners. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation in partner business solutions. Consult and provide clarity on partners' strategic alignment with Microsoft's technology priorities and their readiness to address solution gaps.

Qualifications:

Required/minimum qualifications

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical or sales experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical or sales experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in/or with the Microsoft Partner ecosystem.
Preferred qualifications

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 8+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 12+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years experience with relevant technologies (e.g., cloud, infrastructure, Microsoft platform).
  • 3+ years people management experience.
  • Experience driving the daily execution of a service delivery business for partners.
  • Experience building multi-year strategies for business growth.
Partner Technology Strategy M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
