OPMs are pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple's products. A successful OPM is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized, and detail oriented; excels in program/project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts.We lead within Worldwide Accessory Operations and collaborate with the Core Product Development team and other functional organizations within Apple.

Key Qualifications

3+ years of experience in high volume manufacturing, process engineering, or product developmentProactive, Results oriented, and high attention to detail while running several work streamsStrong interpersonal skills, ability to present complicated information in simple terms across organizationUse data driven decisions and be willing to take actionTechnical expertise and prior OEM management experienceAbility to travel up to 20%

Description

- Lead Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Operations team in planning and driving development builds and new product ramps- Drive ramp readiness with Engineering, Operations and OEM teams - Plan Capacity and lead factory Capital Equipment budgeting- Handle module readiness to ensure part availability, quality and cost - Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams- Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality- Lead all communications, upward and downward through the organization- Raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams- Lead program readiness reviews that include overall program status of design/technical development and operations. Drive closure on design/technical and operations issues- Lead operations development builds on-site at suppliers. Responsible for successful mass production ramp up- Excellent communicator, able to present in weekly meetings with large multi-functional teams and executives

Education & Experience

Bachelors/Masters in Engineering, MBA is considered a plus

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $148,200 and $223,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
