Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn contractor to join our ADDER (All Domain Data EnableR) Core Architecture team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in building and deploying cloud-native applications, implementing containerization and orchestration tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with various systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and deploy cloud-native applications using containerization tools
  • Implement Kubernetes configurations and assist in CI/CD pipeline development
  • Write code in programming languages such as Python, Go, and Rust
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate applications with various systems and services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment, scaling, and performance

Basic Requirements:

  • Strong foundation in one or two of the following areas: containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), programming languages (Python, Go, Rust), or CI/CD and automation (GitLab CI/CD, Software Factory pipelines)
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the team
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for security, scalability, and performance
  • Experience with managing Helm charts and data application building (Streamlit)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, k9s, Helm)
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Go, Rust)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools (GitLab CI/CD, Software Factory pipelines)
  • Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure), service mesh technologies (Istio), and monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
