About the Role

As a Software Engineer in this contingent role, you will contribute to the design, development, and support of moderately complex software systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, ensure compliance with internal standards, and support application management across a diverse technology stack.
Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and execution of software engineering initiatives, contributing to moderately complex projects and deliverables.
• Analyze and troubleshoot software engineering challenges, applying sound judgment and technical expertise.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet engineering goals while ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Support application lifecycle management, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Contribute to the resolution of technical issues and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent experience through a combination of work, consulting, military service, or education.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Linux systems, including application installation and configuration.
• 4+ years of experience with ITSM tools such as PAC2000, ServiceNow, and change management processes.
• 2+ years of scripting experience using ETL tools, Autosys, Python, Perl, or Shell.
• 2+ years of experience with authentication and identity tools (e.g., Single Sign-On, SAML, BoKS, LDAP, IAM).
• 2+ years of experience with infrastructure technologies such as F5 LTM, VMware, SAN/NAS, Puppet, Data Guard, and Splunk.
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments using tools like JIRA.
• 2+ years of experience supporting Technology Compliance Initiatives (TCI) across application portfolios.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as PCF, OCP, or DPC.
• 1+ year of experience with DevOps practices and tools, including GitHub.
• Familiarity with enterprise tools such as AIMS, ART, ACT, RMS, ILMS, and ALM is a plus.
• Experience with Axiom Controller View is a strong advantage.
