Location: / Rockford - Illinois Onsite

Role/Responsibilities

• Migration Focus: Transitioning existing PLC programs from e!COCKPIT v18.1 to v22.
• Platform: Wago PLCs using Codesys software.
• Hardware: No changes to existing PLC hardware unless malfunction occurs.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze the current PLC program logic.
• Migrate and validate the program in the updated e!COCKPIT environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, including Modbus communication with 5 VFDs and 60 digital I/Os.
• Collaborate with the customer and vendor (Wago) for technical support.
• Document the migration process and provide support for SOW preparation.

Preferred Skills

• 8+years of hands-on experience with Wago PLCs and Codesys.
• Familiarity with Modbus communication protocols.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and legacy PLC logic.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Qualifications & Experience

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $ 92000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $ 135000 per year

A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
