Your Job:
In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Senior Imaging Technician repairs, maintains, tests, and calibrates advanced imaging equipment/systems to ensure their safe and proper operation. Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities according to departmental guidelines, manufacturers recommendations/specifications, established Methodist Health System policies/procedures and industry-recognized standards. The Senior Technician will document all maintenance activities in a timely manner as defined the in the Biomedical Engineering departmental guidelines. Provides guidance and mentors Level I and Level II Technicians as needed on more complex issues/repairs.
Your Job Requirements:
Requires an Associate Degree in Biomedical Technology or Bachelor Degree in Medical Electronics field to provide supportive and technical expertise to customers (Military and Manufacturer specific training will be considered in lieu of academic certificate)
CRES certification preferred
5 years experience preferred as an imaging equipment repair tech, with a minimum of 3 years working on complex imaging modalities, to include: CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Cath Lab
