Job Description

  • 5 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering and DevOps.
  • Proven success in migrating production workloads from AWS to Azure.
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Terraform/Bicep
  • Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Azure Backup, Geo-Replication
  • Azure Networking, Private Endpoints, Traffic Manager, Front Door
  • Experience with mobile and Smart TV ecosystems, including backend services for authentication, telemetry, and streaming.

Job Responsibilities

  • Experience in full-stack development using NodeJS, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of Python is preferred
  • Experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems
  • Proven experience with cloud-to-cloud migration strategies, including rehosting, re-platforming, refactoring, and service mapping between AWS and Azure equivalents
  • At least 5 years' experience with Azure (Preferred) and 1-2+ years in AWS (Good to have) ecosystems, including tools, services, and resources that enable scalable, available, and distributed processing
  • Experience in designing and building scalable Microservices on Azure using Container Apps, AKS, Container Instances, and AWS (ECS, EKS)
  • Experience with Azure serverless development (API Management, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid).
  • Preferred with experience in AWS serverless development (API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge) and Azure (API Management, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid)
  • Experience in Azure SQL Database and PostgreSQL
  • Experience working with No-SQL databases: Azure (Cosmos DB, Table Storage) & AWS (Good to have knowledge about DynamoDB, DocumentDB)
  • Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform (cross-cloud), AWS CloudFormation, Azure ARM templates, GitHub Actions
  • Experience with Cloud monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency with software best practices (e.g., writing unit tests, maintaining clear documentation, architecture diagramming with tools like Lucid, Draw.io, or Azure Architecture Center patterns)

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in Dallas, TX, to be $120,000 to $130,000, and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good-faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower.
