Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ or Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Rate: $48/Hr on W2
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Techno-Functional Project Manager with expertise in Oracle General Ledger (GL) migration within the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of banking finance processes, regulatory requirements, technology solutions, and hands-on experience managing large-scale Oracle GL migration projects. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and project management expertise to successfully lead cross-functional teams and ensure seamless data migration and system integration.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in finance technology project management, with a strong focus on Oracle GL migration in the banking industry.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle Financials (EBS, Cloud, or Fusion), specifically General Ledger, within banking environments.
- Strong knowledge of banking finance and accounting principles, including multi-currency, multi-entity consolidations, and regulatory reporting.
- Proven ability to manage full project lifecycle, from requirement gathering to post-go-live support in a banking environment.
- Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes specific to banking systems.
- Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, APIs, and banking reporting tools (BI, OTBI, FRS, IFRS reporting) is a plus.
- Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum certification is preferred.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Oracle Cloud/Oracle Financials certification is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead end-to-end Oracle GL migration projects within the banking sector, ensuring timely delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.
- Banking-Specific Business Analysis & Solution Design:Collaborate with finance and IT teams to understand banking-specific business requirements, design solutions, and oversee implementation.
- Data Migration & Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and efficient migration of financial data from legacy banking systems to Oracle GL, performing validations and reconciliations.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with finance leaders, IT teams, regulatory bodies, and third-party vendors to align objectives and resolve issues.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-migration validation, considering banking compliance requirements.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve banking finance processes and leverage Oracle GL functionalities for enhanced efficiency.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all migration activities adhere to banking regulatory requirements (Basel, IFRS, SOX, etc.) and internal compliance standards.
- Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and support end-users in adapting to new Oracle GL functionalities in the banking context.
