Belcan is seeking a Manufacturing/Quality Engineer for on wing support (OWS) at our clients manufacturing facility in Fort Worth. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive database of shop build aids and storage tools, as well as creating detailed work instructions and technical blueprints. In addition, the position will lead the creation of a global, scalable tooling database to support other OWS sites, driven by work scope, engine model, and shop capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive tooling and build aid database for the DFW site.
* Lead the design of a global, work scope-driven tooling database to support all OWS sites, scalable by engine type and shop capacity.
* Create and update detailed work instructions and technical blueprints to support operational processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance with document control and release procedures.
* Support the design and implementation of systems to improve tooling visibility, standardization, and utilization across sites.
Qualifications:
* Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
* Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets (advanced functions) or basic SQL.
* Prior use of CAD software for (read and mark-up) and illustration software (Visio).
* Prior experience in aerospace tooling and/or operations support.
* Familiarity with GE Aviation systems and processes is strongly preferred.
* Due to the nature of the work ship is required.
