Job Description: Sr. SAP QM Consultant

Position: SAP Quality Management (QM) Consultant
Location:Remote location

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP QM Consultant to join our team and support implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of the SAP Quality Management module. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SAP QM processes, integration with other SAP modules, and experience in both support and project-based work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, configure, and support SAP QM module to meet business requirements.

  • Analyze business processes related to quality planning, inspection, notifications, certificates, and audits.

  • Integrate SAP QM with MM, PP, PM, and SD modules.

  • Support master data management (inspection plans, characteristics, sampling procedures, etc.).

  • Configure and manage quality inspection types, lot processing, and usage decisions.

  • Handle QM in procurement, production, and sales scenarios.

  • Develop and maintain quality notifications (defects, complaints, corrective actions).

  • Work with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.

  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and support.

  • Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, reports, and interfaces.

  • Assist in system testing, UAT, and cutover activities during SAP projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 10-15years of SAP QM experience

  • Hands-on experience with QM processes: inspection lot processing, quality notifications, results recording, usage decision, calibration, certificates, etc.

  • Strong understanding of QM master data (MICs, inspection plans, sampling).

  • Experience in integration with MM, PP, SD, PM.

  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA QM (preferred).

  • Ability to handle incident management, change requests, and enhancements.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to SAP ABAP debugging (for functional consultants).

  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology or end-to-end implementation projects.

  • Knowledge of quality compliance standards (ISO, GMP, FDA, etc.).

  • SAP certification in QM (preferred but not mandatory).
