- Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking an APEX Developer to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for upgrading a custom APEX application on the Oracle APEX platform; this involves interpreting system specifications and collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of the requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with web technologies: basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with the following:
- Oracle Application Express (APEX) for developing web applications
- Oracle SQL for data modeling and PL/SQL for backend programming
- Oracle Database management and optimization
- Using and integrating APEX plugins to extend application functionality
PREFERRED- Oracle APEX Developer Certified Expert
- Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate
RESPONSIBILITIES- Update a custom APEX application, ensuring that specified business needs are met.
- Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts to support application functionality and ensure efficient and secure data handling.
- Add additional features to daily uploads from current systems into the APEX application, ensuring seamless data synchronization and accessibility.
- Ensure that the application complies with industry standards, security policies, and best practices, including robust data protection measures.
