Position: Product Analyst

Job Summary

The Product Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between external payer stakeholders and internal product and development teams. This role focuses on driving Payer Connectivity initiatives, ensuring seamless integration through standardized APIs. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and project management skills with hands-on experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to gather requirements, manage end-to-end implementation, and maintain client relationships throughout the integration lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with payer stakeholders to understand API guidelines, documentation, and data exchange needs.

  • Technical Coordination: Translate payer API specifications into clear, actionable requirements for development teams, providing ongoing functional guidance.

  • Testing & Validation: Coordinate and perform testing of JSON messages and API endpoints to ensure compliance with functional and industry standards.

  • Project Management: Develop and maintain project plans, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery across multiple payer integrations.

  • Client Communication (SPOC): Act as the primary point of contact for client implementations managing expectations, facilitating communication, and providing regular status updates.

  • Implementation Oversight: Lead and monitor implementation phases from requirements gathering through go-live and post-implementation support.

  • Documentation & Standards: Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, test cases, and implementation details, ensuring adherence to healthcare integration standards.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or Project Manager in healthcare IT or RCM environments.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare RCM workflows, data exchange, and payer connectivity processes.

  • Experience with API integrations, JSON data formats, and interpreting technical specifications.

  • Demonstrated ability to gather and document detailed functional and technical requirements.

  • Proven project management experience leading cross-functional teams through implementation.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to bridge technical and business discussions effectively.


Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Experience with payer connectivity or EDI transactions in healthcare.

  • Familiarity with healthcare API standards such as FHIR or HL7.

  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.
