Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to develop and enhance dynamic reporting solutions using Power BI. In this role, you will transform complex datasets into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with diverse teams, leveraging your technical expertise to design and optimize dashboards while ensuring seamless data integration.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement interactive Power BI dashboards tailored to meet organizational needs.
Utilize Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse environments to manage cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
Build and maintain efficient data pipelines connecting on-premises servers with cloud platforms.
Partner with analytics and development teams to structure datasets for reporting purposes.
Improve existing Power BI reports through reverse engineering and optimization techniques.
Apply Python or PySpark for automating processes and transforming data (preferred).
Troubleshoot and resolve challenges using online resources and technical documentation.
Ensure data security through row-level security configurations and incremental refresh strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence or analytics roles, with healthcare revenue cycle knowledge as a plus.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience developing solutions in Power BI.
Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX formulas, data modeling, publishing, and optimization.
Strong understanding of relational databases and their integration with BI tools.
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Notebooks, and advanced data modeling techniques.
Knowledge of Python scripting for automation and data transformation is preferred.
Possession of a Power BI certification or experience with AI agent development is a bonus.
