Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Lucera Financial Infrastructures is hiring a Level 2/3 Technical Support Engineer for our Belfast office to help expand our global support footprint for our suite of our core products, used by some of the top names in financial services. We are looking for someone who has experience working primarily with customer support in financial services. This role is for individuals who can work effectively as part of the local and wider global team, along with the ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership. We are looking to talk to people with:

A passion for technology, with an ability and desire to pick up new technologies

Experience of second and third level support, and client onboarding

Understanding of support processes, and ability to react and adapt to changing circumstances

Strong skills in Unix/Linux based environments

Experience with Financial Services, in particular concepts of Market Data and Order Entry

Excellent communication skills

Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

Networking

Deployment Management

Knowledge of common scripting languages and ability to automate common processes, and interact with existing frameworks

FX / FI & Crypto Markets

Messaging protocols, in particular FIX & ITCH

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or relevant work experience).

Hybrid Working - We are currently operating a hybrid model for our shared services employees (including this role). We anticipate continuing these arrangements for the foreseeable future with periodic review. Hybrid for Cantor Fitzgerald & its affiliates across the working week, means three days office based and two days remote.

Salary:

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $160,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
