PowerBuilder Developer
Location: Remote

Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Perm
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled PowerBuilder Developer for a 6-month, contract-to-perm opportunity. In this role, you will maintain, enhance, and modernize our legacy PowerBuilder applications while collaborating with the development team to integrate with newer technologies. Experience with .NET, API development, and SQL is highly desirable, as this role will have opportunities to contribute to broader software initiatives beyond PowerBuilder.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing PowerBuilder applications.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Optimize and refactor legacy code for better performance and maintainability.
- Work with APIs to enable integration between PowerBuilder and modern applications.
- Participate in Agile development cycles, delivering iterative, high-quality solutions.
- Assist in the migration of legacy components to newer platforms where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining PowerBuilder applications.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience working in a collaborative, Agile development environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Residency in one of the following states: AL, GA, ID, LA, MO, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, WI.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with .NET (C#) and API development.
- Knowledge of Mulesoft, Angular, or .NET MAUI.
- Familiarity with integrating legacy systems into modern architectures.
