Title: Snowflake Developer
Location: San Juan (Onsite Role).
Type: 12+ months contract role (Possible Extension)
Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer to design, implement, and optimize data solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud platform.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud data warehousing, SQL, data modeling, and ELT/ETL processes.
- You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure robust and scalable data infrastructure that supports analytics and business intelligence needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations using Snowflake.
- Design and optimize Snowflake schema structures (star, snowflake, and normalized models).
- Write complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for data transformation and business logic.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Snowflake Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud architecture and features.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, Informatica, Matillion, dbt, or native Snowflake pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid grasp of data security, masking, and encryption in a cloud environment.
