Summary
Our customer is seeking a Director of A/V  Engineering who will function as an A/V Architect and Leader, examining and reviewing all pieces of the design layout and then making the optimal package for the customer.  This individual must be able to communicate all architectural and infrastructure requirements for an A/V set-up.  They also must be comfortable in a client-facing role, working directly with customers.  The second part of this job is the Lead aspect, which means leading other design engineers; this is a 50% Lead/50% Hands-on design role.
Requirements

• 5+ years of A/V design experience.
• Strong background and experience in A/V including a proven track record of successful project execution.
• Specific experience in A/V design including the ability to conceptualize and develop comprehensive A/V system designs that meet client specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving industry standards in A/V engineering.
• Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.

Preferred

• Experience with quoting/estimating software for A/V designs.
• CTS-D certification.
