Location Requirement:
A professional responsible for creating, organizing, and managing essential documents across an organization. They ensure that all content is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible for staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Create and Edit Documentation: Develop, write, and edit a variety of documents, including user manuals, technical guides, policy documentation, training materials, and reports.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Work closely with cross- functional teams, such as engineering, product development, and support, to gather information and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Manage Document Lifecycle: Organize, manage, and maintain a structured document management system, ensuring version control and proper storage of all documents (both physical and electronic).
- Ensure Compliance and Quality: Review and proofread all materials for clarity, grammar, and accuracy, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, legal requirements, and branding guidelines.
- Improve Accessibility: Organize information in a logical and easily navigable manner, supporting the development of document templates and standards to increase efficiency and consistency across all documentation.
- Assist with Training: Support the development of training resources and potentially assist in training staff on documentation processes and tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Proven experience (e.g., 2+ years) in document creation, editing, and management, preferably within a relevant industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into simple, understandable language for a variety of audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential for meticulous review and error correction.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with document creation software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat) and experience with document management systems (DMS) and content management systems (CMS).
- Organization: Strong organizational, time-management, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, maintaining professionalism and handling confidential information discreetly.
