Valiant Solutions is seeking a Technical Business Analyst who specializes in iCAM Governance / Identity & Access Management. This ICAM Strategic Planning & Service Development Specialist will support the development of identity and access management services for our government client.

 

This role is part Business Analyst, and part strategy and technical advisor. The successful candidate will support the development of protocol and documentation for new identity and access management services, including the development of user documentation and cost models. This position requires background knowledge and experience supporting authentication, authorization, and identity management solutions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support direct tasking and influence and shape our client's ICAM program.

 

The successful candidate will understand authentication protocols and flows and how and where authentication and authorization happen in an enterprise environment. This knowledge is required in order to support the evaluation of our client s customer s needs and guide them on the use of applicable services and protocols.

Required Skills:

  • Experience supporting the development of governance practices or disciplines
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT architectures and how identity and access management applies
  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of standard protocols used for authentication, authorization, and identity management disciplines
  • Understanding of ICAM user personas and how they apply to systems
  • Technical and non-technical communication and writing skills
  • Technical research for architectures and development of strategies, whitepapers, and communications for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Practical hands-on knowledge of the user and customer experience needs (UX/CX) for the federal government
  • Take notes and meeting minutes to support our government client
  • Support the development of roadmaps for identity and access management services
  • Evaluate and process incoming data to support decision-making
  • Develop new identity management protocols and roadmaps

 

Required Experience and Education:

  • Five (5) plus years of experience in Cybersecurity
  • Four (4) plus years of experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Two (2) plus years of experience supporting identity and access management in some capacity
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field, or an additional two (2) years of industry experience.

 

Job Description:

  • Develop detailed, comprehensive user stories to effectively articulate how specific ICAM services deliver value to the customer
  • Gather requirements, develop solutions and associated documentation to meet ICAM compliance requirements for federal customers
  • Support the development of cost-sharing and chargeback models for services developed and deployed to customers
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents
  • Make recommendations to our government client on the subject of protocols, procedures, service structure
  • Support the ICAM journey of identity management for customer systems by guiding them on available options from the service offering
  • Support the development of an overall ICAM service strategy for the organization
  • Create road maps for the development of new and existing ICAM services based on the developed ICAM service strategy
  • Support our client s needs with budgeting and funding for services, including the development of cost models
  • Perform and document a detailed gap analysis of current ICAM tooling and capabilities
  • Use gap analysis information to write detailed recommendations to senior stakeholders regarding how to remediate flaws in current or proposed implementations
  • Research best practices and federal requirements to support proposed recommendations and create detailed presentations for senior management to provide a basis for the development of a strategic road map to ICAM compliance across the enterprise
