The likely salary range for this position is $94,676 - $128,092. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Job Description:
- Demonstrates advanced technical expertise or certification in accordance with DoD 8140.03
- Relevant certifications in VDI and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility, Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization, Nutanix Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, or equivalent).
- Expertise in at least one major VDI platform (e.g., VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or Azure Virtual Desktop)
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g. hypervisors like VMware ESXi or Hyper-V)
- Proficiency in networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS), storage solutions (SAN, NAS), and security policies relevant to VDI environments
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for VDI management
- Demonstrated ability to monitor VDI performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize the environment for a smooth user experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in VDI administration and management, with specific expertise in virtual systems (e.g. Citrix Virtual Apps, virtual desktops, cross domain solutions / access solutions, VDI).
- Relevant certifications in VDI and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware
Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility, Citrix Certified
Professional - Virtualization, Nutanix Certified Professional, Microsoft
Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, or equivalent).
Demonstrated 'Advanced Technical Expertise' or certification in accordance with DoD 8140.03.
