The Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) team is in search an Engineering Aide
In this role, you will be providing technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks to include:
Moderate peer reviews of engineering documents, drawings, and specifications
Facilitate technical and non-technical related discussions for engineers, program managers, and stakeholders across multiple teams and locations
Schedule meetings, maintain agendas, capture notes, and provide meeting minutes for the System Engineering team and program level meetings
Update databases such as DOORS and Collaborator as determined by responsible engineers
Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results, engineering design changes, and requirements and verification information.
Produce engineering documentation, reports, PowerPoint slides (flow charts, block diagrams, schematics, plans, schedules)
Review engineering documentation, reports, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with governing documentation and requirements
Compile release packages ensuring all documentation is present
Coordinate change requests and action items with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and other stakeholders
Support coordination and logistics of formal design review meetings
Track action items
Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation and/or reports. Other engineering technical support duties as needed.
Successful candidate will typically have an associate's degree and 1 year of professional experience,
OR
3-5 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications
Associate degree in a related field and/or related work experience/technical training. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access - U.S. Citizenship required
Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
