Maintenance Material Coordinator

iSphere is seeking a Maintenance Material Coordinator who thrives in the high-stakes world of industrial maintenance support. This position puts you at the intersection of Supply Chain, Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations. Your mission: make sure the right materials get to the right place at the right time. Think of yourself as the unsung hero behind every successful turnaround or maintenance window.
What You ll Own and Drive
Material Mastery:

Develop a deep working knowledge of SAP and the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process

Support field leads and maintenance planners with real-time material coordination

Use SAP to initiate, track, and manage material requisitions including emergency red tags, tooling, and standing orders

Manage PCard purchases from initiation to receipt
Coordination Like a Pro:

Verify material availability for planned and unplanned scopes (T-1 through T-4)

Work hand-in-hand with the warehouse team to tag, kit, and stage materials at assigned drop points

Coordinate repairs and returns, core returns, and fabrications including shop visits and vendor interface

Identify patterns in material usage and work with stakeholders to recommend new stock codes or enhancements to Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Leverage after-hours procurement processes when things heat up
Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

Help keep the non-stock warehouse lean and organized you're the champion of bin optimization

Work closely with Supply Chain and Inventory Control to remove quarantined materials and streamline returns

Partner with the GP Materials Team to run ad-hoc parts analysis and support ongoing process improvement
Administrative Backbone:

Implement routine touchpoints and run daily materials status reports for on-site and off-site needs

Support expediting efforts and maintain compliance with business controls

Act as the point person for shipping, receiving, and coordinating with third-party warehousing or logistics teams
What You Bring to the Table
-
10+ years experience in a large production facility think Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or similar

Strong command of SAP, Prometheus, and P6 systems

Deep familiarity with maintenance trades bonus points for training or hands-on experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation crafts

Proven background in maintenance execution, ideally in a lead, OMC, or supervisory role

Excellent communication and organizational skills you re comfortable interfacing across every layer of an operation

Analytical mindset with solid experience managing workflows, inventories, and priorities in a fast-moving environment
