Locomotive experience is preferred
Analyze and Compare BoM to identify potential cost out opportunities.
- Identify high-cost BoM parts and seek lower cost alternatives wherever possible
- Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to identify areas for potential savings.
- Develop and implement cost-reduction opportunities that align with scope
- Collaborate with Engineering and Supply chain teams to identify potential cost optimization opportunities.
- Support shops supply chain teams to implement the projects and ensure actualization of the projects on time.
- Keep track of all cost out projects and report progress on a weekly basis
- Keep track of the project progress, project cost, and quality, against defined targets and report to the leadership as per requirements
Manages programs or projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of project to finished state. Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the program/project from initiation through delivery interfacing with internal customer or department personnel. Organizes project activities that may require interdepartmental meetings and communication ensuring completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraint.
