We are currently looking for a Information Security & Support Specialist (ONSITE) for our Client in Sacramento, CA. Please submit your resume along with 3 references and expected rate per hour.

Role: Information Security & Support Specialist

Location: Sacramento, CA (Onsite is mandatory )

Duration: 12 Months +

Mandatory Qualifications -

       Working knowledge of California information security requirements, including SIMM 5300.

·        Minimum 1 year of experience supporting California state agencies or departments in developing and implementing information security policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications –

·        Minimum 5 years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects, with at least 3 years in systems analysis and design.

·        Minimum 3 years of recent, full-time experience providing IT support services (help desk, desktop, or end-user support) within the last 10 years, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.

·       Valid CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or ITIL certification (active and not expired).

·        Possession of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualifying project management experience on a year-for-year basis, up to 4 years).

·        More than 1 year of experience supporting California state agencies in developing and implementing information security policies and procedures.

·        Experience applying analytical and technical skills to assist in implementing business solutions, including tasks such as documenting business process flows, identifying functional requirements, designing and testing information systems, and conducting user training sessions.
