Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in the banking domain and a strong background in managing Data Warehouse (DWH) projects. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex data integration, analytics, and reporting solutions aligned with banking and financial services requirements. The Project Manager will ensure timely delivery, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction through effective project planning, execution, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Coordination:
    Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables in coordination with stakeholders. Manage resources, budgets, and timelines for Data Warehouse projects within the banking domain.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Act as the primary point of contact for clients, business users, and technical teams. Facilitate communication and ensure alignment of project goals with business needs and compliance standards.
  • Data Warehouse Delivery:
    Lead end-to-end Data Warehouse initiatives, including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and reporting environments tailored for banking operations such as risk, compliance, customer analytics, and reporting.
  • Risk & Issue Management:
    Identify potential risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues proactively to keep projects on track.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensure the quality and integrity of data solutions through rigorous testing, validation, and documentation in accordance with banking industry standards.
  • Team Leadership:
    Manage cross-functional teams comprising data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and vendors. Foster a collaborative environment that drives project success.
  • Process Improvement:
    Continuously evaluate and improve project management and Data Warehouse development processes, advocating best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Compliance & Governance:
    Ensure all projects adhere to banking regulations, data security policies, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related fields.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5-8 years) as a Project Manager in banking/financial services domain.
  • Strong expertise in managing Data Warehouse, Data Lake, or Business Intelligence projects.
  • In-depth understanding of banking operations, risk management, compliance, and related data requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools, data modeling, SQL, and reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications (preferred).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex environments with multiple dependencies and adhering to strict regulatory standards.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with banking-specific regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel, KYC, AML).
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
