Job Title: Google Cloud Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Deployment Manager to ensure efficient and scalable cloud environments.
  • Kubernetes Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Kubernetes and GKE, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Implement best practices for container orchestration.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process. Streamline deployments and improve overall release management.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure. Utilize tools like Stackdriver or Prometheus for effective monitoring.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures related to the infrastructure and deployments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform services, particularly GKE.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.\
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and best practices for cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
