SOFT's client located in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a Data Quality Engineer - Automation for a full time role with benefits.

Responsibilities:

This Job Description is for the Information Technology Job Family, and could include anyone within the ITS department that performs these
tasks.

The mid-level Data Engineer Quality Automation position implements or modifies testing/data validation/quality assurance for automated
applications and procedures for solutions to mild to moderately complex business problems. Also has full operational knowledge of all
phases of testing and can work independently at a moderate level of complexity related to quality assurance. Directs and reviews work of
lower-level personnel and/or may perform as an individual contributor and/or lead data testing for large and moderately complex systems.
Considered skilled and proficient in discipline. Conducts moderately complex, important work under limited supervision and with latitude for
independent judgment.

Data/ETL Test Implementation and Execution
Implement comprehensive data verification and validation for backend data-oriented systems and ETL processes using modern tools,
languages, data processing frameworks, and databases approved for use at FRS as applicable. Use scripting/programming languages with
a modern IDE and source code management. Implement automated solutions where possible, using scheduling, CI/CD jobs, or application
event triggers as available. Work with structured and unstructured data from a variety of data stores, such as data lakes, relational database
management systems, and/or data warehouses.

Technical Fluency
Investigate and suggest technologies and frameworks that could contribute to process improvements. Participate in improving best practices
that benefit all team members performing data testing. Suggest methods based on collaboration and exploring new technologies.

Data Visualization Testing
Develop solutions for testing data visualizations using common visualization platforms.

Assist less-experienced team members as needed. Participate in team discussions and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
