ECS is seeking a Database Analyst to work in our Quantico, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, implementation and maintenance of
complex databases with respect to access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, statistical methods, data standards, policies, and procedures. - Maintain database dictionaries, overall monitoring of
government standards and procedures and integration of systems through database design. - Analyze and define data requirements, specifications, data sources and assess the validity of source data and subsequent findings.
- Provide actionable recommendations to critical stakeholders based on data analysis and findings.
- Analyze and plan for anticipated changes in data capacity requirements.
- Provide recommendations on new database technologies and architectures.
- Provide recommendations on new database technologies and architectures.
- Read, interpret, write, modify and execute scripts on mission systems.
- Utilize programming languages to write code,
open files, read files, and write to output different files. - Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- 12+ years of relevant experience is required
Required Skills
- MS/MA in Computer Science with a concentration in data analytics and 10 years experience or BA/BS in Computer Science with a concentration in data analytics with 12 years experience.
- Must have two (2) of the following Microsoft Certifications:
- Azure Database Administrator Associate
- Data Science Council of America Senior Data Scientist (SDS)
- OR at least two (2) role-based Microsoft Certifications:
- Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- Security Operations Analyst Associate
- Cybersecurity Architect
- Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Azure Data Fundamentals
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Power Platform Fundamentals
- Azure Data Scientist Associate
- Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Azure AI Engineer Associate
- AI Engineer Associate
Desired Skills
- Master's degree in a related IT field
