PETADATA is currently looking to hire for the position of Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer for one of their clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software engineers to understand the software deployment process.
• Focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining the underlying cloud infrastructure, such as virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
• Use a variety of open-source technologies and tools to orchestrate solutions.
• Manage and optimize servers and their configurations.
• Automate and improve development and release processes.
• Test system integrity, implement designs, application developments, and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as necessary.
• Responsible for deploying new applications to the cloud and migrating existing applications from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.
• Ensure critical resolution of system issues by using the best cloud security solutions.
• Understand the migration process and not disrupt the organization's operations.
• Oversee pre-production acceptance testing to ensure the high quality of a company's services and products.
• Manage and document system backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor the performance of cloud-based systems and optimize resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and high availability.
• Maintain an active understanding of the latest industry trends and technology.
• Implement security measures like encryption and access controls and regularly audit the cloud environment to ensure compliance.

Required Skills:

• Required experience in Software engineering, DevOps engineering, and Cloud Technologies.
• Should have experience in DevOps toolsets like Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and Groovy.
• Expert in Docker containerization.
• Need to understand the application footprint on Kubernetes and can create repeatable processes and workflows.
• Must have working experience in full-stack application implementation and an excellent understanding of legacy and cloud-ready application architecture.
• Excellent understanding of the application landscape and services to be adopted/ used on the cloud.
• Good expert in AWS, Azure, and Private Cloud.
• Deep knowledge of AKS, EKS, ECS, and OCP/PCF.
• Must Understand legacy application transformation, deployment, and management to the Cloud.
• Excellent communication (Oral & verbal) skills.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
