Job Details

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Windows-VMware Administrator with strong Active Directory skills to manage, support, and maintain Windows-based infrastructure both on-premises and in cloud environments. The ideal candidate should be an expert in Active Directory with solid VMware experience and must be available for 24/7 support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (on-premises and cloud-hosted).

  • Manage VMware ESXi/vSphere infrastructure, including provisioning, maintenance, and performance tuning.

  • Provide Level 2+ support for Active Directory (ADFS, DNS, GPO, Clustering) and resolve complex issues.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory Domain Controllers and related components.

  • Design and implement Windows Clustering, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and DNS configurations.

  • Virtualize and deploy Windows servers using Hyper-V and VMware.

  • Apply OS patches, security updates, service packs, and bug fixes regularly.

  • Create and manage automation scripts using PowerShell for routine tasks.

  • Monitor system performance and implement optimization best practices.

  • Collaborate in infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and documentation.

  • Participate in change control processes and ensure system reliability and security.

  • Provide 24x7 production support including on-call duties.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server and VMware administration.

  • Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory (installation, configuration, support).

  • Proficient in VMware ESXi, vSphere, and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.

  • Working knowledge of SAN technologies and network integration with virtualized environments.

  • Experience with server hardening, system tuning, and performance optimization.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across the Windows and VMware stack.

  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting or similar automation tools is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of cloud-hosted environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
