VMO- Data Management & Risk Compliance Consultant

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Management & Risk Compliance Consultant with our client in the financial Industry located in New York, NY. This is a 6+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business, technology, and data management leaders to execute data management deliverables
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data policies and procedures
• Support the identification, resolution, and remediation of data quality issues and defects
• Analyze operational risk data and processes to drive risk mitigation
• Monitor and communicate project performance and data compliance to key stakeholders
• Assist with change management, data movement, and enrichment activities
• Identify and escalate emerging risks in data governance and controls

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years in financial services, business execution, or strategic planning
• In-depth understanding of enterprise data domains, sourcing, conformance, and distribution
• Familiar with data governance frameworks, data quality controls, and compliance practices
• Knowledge of technology delivery, implementation risks, and system changes
• Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficient in data analysis using Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and Macros; experienced in managing large, multi-tab spreadsheets
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements such as FRB 2052a and Y-14
• Strong understanding of operational risk and how data and processes impact organizational controls
• Skilled in creating and delivering presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Experience with remediation efforts, data movement, and change management initiatives

Pay Range: $ 60 - 70
